Why I Needed A Break

After 8 years of running this blog, these past 3 months I’m sure you have noticed the lack of posts. For the first time ever, I allowed myself to take a step back from posting consistently on here and it really did wonders for my creativity elsewhere. Quarantine has taught me to slow down a lot and to focus on what I really want to do in instead of what I feel obligated to do. The blog started feeling like an obligation and it was taking up time from doing the creative things I wanted to do on my social platforms.

These past 3 months, I've focused on creating much more content on my instgram than ever before and I started tackling Tiktok, which believe it or not can take up a lot of your time. Not only was I working on social content but I was also resetting and figuring out the projects I had put on hold that I really want to launch soon. I started to realize that I was dreading doing a blog post and I didn't even know what I really wanted to talk about on here anymore. So I allowed myself that first break in 8 years and it really cleared my head. Now I'm actually excited to start posting on here again! I've come to realize that you guys have so many questions for me that as much as I try to answer them on social, it's really convenient to have a blog post for you to return to, to access that information. Looking forward to sharing more on here again!
