Where to Buy Quality Bedding
With the on going process of buying things for the house, we are coming across a lot of homeware companies that are amazing and some that are not so great. I’ve decided to start a new home series on here of products that work compared to their competitors! I know honest reviews have helped me so much with this moving process, so hopefully these posts can give you some more insight on these types of products. Let’s start it’s off with bed linen and pillows…
I use to work for a homeware company and one of my roles was to shoot and style all the bedding. This means, I've touched a lot of bed linen, pillows and duvets in my days and I know what quality feels like! After much debate on buying our bed linen from either Parachute and Riley Home, I decided to go with Riley Home since Wire Cutter reviewed their sheets quite highly. I ordered the Sateen sheets that felt heavenly out of the package and wash up pretty nicely. The overall sateen feeling that I initially felt out of the package isn't exactly there anymore but they are still very soft and comfortable. Definitely a good choice for the overall price!
As for our pillows, we also decided to order Riley Home and were sadly disappointed, our heads completely sunk in and necks were killing the next day. We instantly returned the pillows and went with Parachute Firm pillows and they are absolutely amazing! We also decided to go with Parachute for the down duvet insert (all season) and it feels like a fluffy cloud without being too hot! I think Parachute really held up to their reputation overall and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
