Step Into It
I’m writing this from my hotel room in Toronto as I hide away from my first snowfall of the season, preparing myself for a full day of meetings. Everything feels a bit strange being back; I used to have an apartment here and now I’m in a hotel room. It’s kind of indescribable being a tourist in a place I used to call home. It fees like so much has changed but at the same time remained the same. I love coming back and seeing the development of a city – the new restaurants that have opened, the ever-changing skyline, and the places that remained have static and charming. It’s exactly this reflection that shows why it’s so important to leave your home at least once and come back to appreciate it all over again.
