Runway Ready

This Saturday we made a stop at Berlin’s now closed Tempelhof airport. You would think that an abandoned airport isn’t too appealing to hang out in, but leave it to Berliners to find an empty space and turn it into something magical. The runways are filled with people biking, skateboarding, kite skating and running. It’s such a great scene; I could have people watched for hours. And just a side note, I clearly had a lot of luck at Forever 21 recently – they just opened their first store in Berlin and I must say I’m impressed with their four floors of great inexpensive summer pieces… like these printed pants!
