NY Fashion Week Recap 3: Fall 2017
The final couple of days at NYFW happen to be my favourite! I opted for a powder blue pant suit on one of my last days, I felt comfortable, chic and powerful. I started the morning at one of my favourite designers, Zimmerman. I rarely say this but literally every look that came down the runway took my breath away! From a pinstripe pant suit to oversized sweaters with lace dresses, every detail and color-way was done to perfection. Next up I headed to Oscar De La Renta, which just so happens to be one of the designers that inspired me to get into fashion in the first place. I’ve admired Oscar for so many years now and although he may not be with us anymore, his legacy lives on and his new designers. I especially liked the pops of electric blue with classic black and white pieces. My last show of NYFW was Coach, a brand I’ve worked with throughout the year and continue to love season after season. The coats took the spotlight for me, with their shearling details combined with leather patchwork, who doesn’t want one of those for Fall’17? Now it’s time to pack up for Paris fashion week!
