What I'm Reading Right Now

What I'm Reading Right Now

Having a busy work schedule and always being on a computer, phone or camera makes it difficult to shut off my mind at times. What really helps me disconnect is always reading a good book. I have always been an avid reader so I make sure I have a book on my nightstand or in my bag at all times. Most commonly, I read books about life, wellness,  but I do like a good fiction or mystery from time to time. Right now, I’m reading The Woman in the Window by Renee Pawlish, which I am only a quarter of the way through so I can’t give a full review just yet. I’m enjoying it so far and received a bunch of messages from you guys about how good it is! Here are a few more of my favourite books that I have been reading this past year:

Written By Kayla Seah

DINING IN- This is one of my favourite new cookbooks of the year. It's a healthy-ish take on of-the moment dishes, I find it to be a good combination of fresh ingredients with bold flavours. Nothing takes overly long and the images are gorgeous!

WHISKEY WORDS & A SHOVEL- I went through some major life changes last year and I really found poetry therapeutic through some tough times. I fell in love with R.H Sin's words and his trilogy is something I often return to.

MILK & HONEY- A collection of poetry about the experiences of violence, abuse, love, loss and femininity. I love how this book is divided into sections, it makes for the perfect gift and it always sits on my coffee table for people to pick up.

Porter Magazine - The one magazine I always buy! I love reading this when I travel, it's so much more than a fashion magazine. It covers so many topics and the imagery is incredibly inspiring.
