How My Style Has Grown

June 28, 2018 Cannes

How My Style has Grown

I’ve always discussed how my style has and continues to evolve year after year, however I find I notice it the most when I’m away on a trip. My outfits are usually quite planned for any trip I have, which is why I think it really allows me to reflect how much my style has grown.  This is exactly what happened on my my recent trip to Cannes and as I head in to my last year of my 20’s, it’s safe to say I’m so much happier and more comfortable with how I dress now than I did in my early 20’s.

Three things I've learned about myself and what style means to me:

1. Sexy doesn't mean a tight outfit or a lot of skin. I wore this long sleeve, flowy Zimmerman dress around the whole day in Cannes and I honestly never felt sexier. Sexy is all about confidence and elegance and this dress made me feel exactly that.

2. Dress for yourself, not for anyone else. People are constantly going to be telling you to wear this, follow that trend or dress like that girl - don't listen to them unless you feel good in it.

3. Oversized pieces can be just as feminine and elegant as something form fitting. Don't worry about sizing, I have size small to large in my closet, it's all about how you wear it and how it sits on you.
