Most days I love living in the concrete jungle and being right in the heart of it all, and then there are days when I miss the smell of clear air and the sound of water. Luckily, just 15 minutes out of downtown I can escape it all and clear my mind. This last weekend I decided I was in need of a different scene so I headed straight to beaches to get some peace of mind. Sometimes comfort and practicality trumps all and this is one of those occasions where heels or flats were not appropriate. I wanted to get right into the water, sit on the rocks and not worry if I was ruining my footwear choice. These EMU Australia Sheepskin boots are completely waterproof and literally the most comfortable thing to slip your foot in. I honestly was ankle up into the water and these boots stayed completely dry. Making them the perfect choice to forget about the city, jump into the water and take a moment to re-charge.
