BRISK WALKS IN DC
Being in Washington, surrounded by historical monuments that are so powerfully immense in not only size but significance, quite literally took my breath away. Throughout all my travels, I’ve been lucky enough to see some pretty reputable buildings, but the ones in DC felt a little more intimidating than anything I’ve ever seen before. On a cool Saturday afternoon we headed to National Mall, which is commonly known for the area that includes Lincoln Memorial, United States Capitol and the Washington Monument. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee and walk around, while being completely blown away by the architecture and history that surrounds.
