The Best Hair Masks

In the past, I have been a harsh critic when it comes to hair masks. I always found they left my hair feeling oily and heavy, the opposite of what they should be doing. However lately brands have been coming out with some really great hair masks and I feel they have been lifesavers for reviving and nourishing my hair. Especially since I got more highlights! Here are my top 3 hair masks:

Written By Kayla Seah

Sisley - Regenerating Hair Care Mask

I absolutely love all Sisley products, they've always been on of my top skincare lines so it's no surprise that their new hair line is just as amazing. This lightweight hair and scalp mask that I use regularly now, is one of my favourites. I apply it root to end on wet hair, leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes, rinse and my hair feels incredibly soft and shiny. The formula is plant-based, using important oils such as Macadamia, Shea, Hazelnut and Camellia.

Gisou - Honey Infused Hair Mask

A couple of years ago, Negin Mirsalehi launched her Gisou beauty line and I can’t get enough. I love the whole idea of the honey in her products coming from her own family’s bee garden. The honey infused in their Hair Mask leaves my hair so smooth and strong after using it. I apply it to wet, clean hair and leave it on for 5-7 minutes. Currently, I’ve been using it 1-2 times a week and love the effect it’s having on my hair!

IGK - Prenup Instant Spray Mask

Okay, let's face it sometimes we don't have time to walk around with a hair masks for 30 min +, so this is the 'I don't have much time but my hair needs some love' product. Unlike most hair masks that are creams, this mask is a lightweight spray, making application easy and even and fast. All you do is spray this on your hair in the shower, give a few minutes and you have some instant hair care. And the smell - let me tell you - I wish my hair could permanently smell like this product!
