3 Things I Always Have In My Kitchen
No matter what my fridge or kitchen pantry looks like, you can guarantee when you open it up you will find – almond butter, tahini, and good quality honey. I’m obsessed with these pantry staples and I think they are so versatile to use in your food! I love nut butters but almond butter is my absolute favorite, I put it in my smoothies, over my oatmeal or in my raw desserts. It adds such a nice richness, it’s a good fat, high in protein and just simply delicious. I also use tahini almost every day in my salad dressings or over a bowl, it’s a great thickening agent to dips and dressings. I’m going to be sharing my favorite tahini sauce on my IG food series soon. Last but not least, honey. I use honey pretty much just like almond butter, over oatmeal, in desserts or just with hot water and lemon. I also love using it in dressing when I want it to be a little sweeter! Make sure you are getting a good quality honey with bee pollen, it helps with inflammation, boost immune system, helps against liver toxicity and is a great anti-oxidant.
