Traveling for the holidays can be stressful and chaotic, so what you wear shouldn’t be. That’s why today I’m sharing my two ideal travel outfits to travel home for the holidays in.

The first look I’m wearing is something you might want to consider if you have to see a bunch of people after getting off a plane. My family always has a handful of events going on when I get home for the holidays, which is why I like to be prepared for anything they throw my way.

These Tommy Hilfiger skinny ankle jeans and striped turtleneck are perfect basics for travelling. The denim has a lot of stretch in them, which is necessary for me when moving as much as I do when I travel. The ankle cut makes them versatile to style with any shoe,  I can travel with flats and throw on a heel or bootie once I’ve landed for a more polished look. Since I’m always a little cold and unfortunately can’t control the temperatures of planes, airpots and ubers, I like to wear long sleeves most of the time. This striped turtleneck is forever a classic in my closet, it works well with a causal winter jacket and I can easily throw on a  leather jacket or blazer if I have to head straight to a family event post plane!

My second outfit is all about comfort while still remaining stylish. These Tommy Hilfiger leggings & sweats from Macy’s are your perfect travel companions this season, they are so soft and cozy, allowing you to have zero restrictions when on-the-go. The graphic logo makes a fashionable statement and the neutral tones in the outfit keep things classic and chic. I finished off my look with white sneakers to elevate this entire athleisure outfit!

So no matter where you are going for the holidays, looking stylish while still being comfortable should never be the issue with these pieces.

  • I love both looks but leggings are definitely a must for flights – especially if you’re going long haul. No-one should spend an 8 hour flight with a jean buckle digging in!

Wow, these are two really stylisch homewear and travel outfits in contrasting styles. You look perfect from head to toe. Your style is quite interesting and very international too. It is obvious though, that one has to have the right figure for these outfits.

Professionally, I was most interested in the slippers you wear. The flats by Alexandre Birman look sharp and sexy in combination with the outfit. They fit with the colour of your hair and the leather at the trunk. This makes the chosen outfit a very harmonious and convincing pack of travel accessoires. Many women with large feet would love to wear similar shoes, but just a few would try them on. They would add to the length of the feet and stress their size too much.

The second travel outfit at notyourstandard.com looks very comfy, but not less stylish. The laquered parts make the Tommy X Gigi slippers look very exquisite while at the same time you can almost feel their comfortable fit. We sell shoes in large sizes via onlineshop and are always interested in new styles. Your blog is an inspiration for female fashionistas. ❤
