Two essentials that get me through the winter months are a good beanie and a quality scarf. The temperatures have dropped in Canada these past few days and I’m finding it hard to live in anything other than cashmere or wool. My days have been a little all over the place lately, which I found difficult to deal with at first since I’m usually a person of order and routine. However, it has made me slow down and appreciate the small moments that I always tend to take for granted back home. My attention has been spent on afternoons cooking Italian dishes with my grandparents, evenings sharing bottles of wine with friends, and early mornings enjoying a cup of coffee with my parents. At the end of the day, those are the moments that matter the most.
