NY Fashion Week Recap 2: Fall 2017

Writen By Kayla Seah

My Outfit
Top: STYLE MAFIA
Jeans: LEVIS
Fishnets: CALZEDONIA
Shoes: JIMMY CHOO (sold out but similar here)
Bag: GUCCI

By the 3rd and 4th day of NYFW, I was able to throw on heels again and trade in the heavy winter jackets for lighter layers. What I love most about fashion weeks, is it allows me to try different things out with my style. I’ve loved the corset look over a blouse for a while now and so I thought what better time than the present? I also added fishnets under all my pants throughout the week, it’s that little detail that makes all the difference in an outfit. I started the morning off at Jonathan Simkhai, one of my favourite shows every season! From elegant gowns to two piece tailored suits, there is nothing but class from each look that comes down the runway. My afternoon shows brought a little more edge, as Dion Lee showcased structured jackets with exaggerated detailing and Tome created the perfect mash of feminine silhouettes with masculine details.
