There has been many things going on in my personal life, that makes this spring in particular feel like a new beginning, a fresh start to another chapter in life. As much as I have wanted to write about everything that has been happening the past 6 months, out of respect to others involved, I have kept it private. I hope to one day to be able to discuss the roller coaster I’ve been on with the desire to help someone who is going through something similar. I will leave this one with a reflection I have referred back time and time again that has helped with cleaning that slate and starting this spring with a new perspective:

“flux, n.

The natural state. Our moods change. Our lives change. Our feelings for each other change. Our bearings change. The song changes. The air changes. The temperature of the shower changes. Accept this. We must accept this.”

                   – David Levithan, The Lover’s Dictionary
