Chanel: French Cuban
Full Look: CHANEL RESORT 2017
Photography by: ERIN LEYDON
Some days you’ll find me in jeans a sweater – other days a mini skirt with thigh high boots – and then there are other days, the really, really good days, where I get the chance to wear Chanel. Ever since I read my first Vogue magazine, it has been a dream of mine to work with and wear Chanel, so you can imagine my excitement when I was able to wear the opening look from Chanel’s Cruise 2017 collection, showcased in Cuba last Spring. The entire collection was French-cuban inspired, with over wide-legged cuffed pants, cinched waists, 50’s car prints and floaty dresses. The look I’m wearing is completely on point to that classic French style with pinstripe trousers, a structured wool jacket, and a timeless white blouse. It’s the perfect balance of feminine and masculine. The true testament to beautifully designed clothing is it’s versatility. As gorgeous as these pieces look together, they could each work on their own for totally different looks.
