Blue & White In Casco Viejo, Panama
Photography by: ERIN LEYDON
After spending the last week in Panama, I’m so excited to be sharing my first set of photos with you. Now, as much as I want to tell you every last detail about this trip right now, I’m going to space it out a bit and divide all my thoughts, highlights and recommendations throughout a series of posts. These photos were shot on our first full day in Casco Viejo, Panama – the old town of Panama that happens to be my favourite part and where we spent 90% of our time. Luckily for us, Panama is only a five hour flight away and a one hour time difference, making it an ideal spot for a short vacation. Since we didn’t need to catch up on sleep, we were naturally up at the crack of dawn and snapped these photos on our way to find our morning coffee. And let me just say that the coffee in South/Central America truly beats all coffee I’ve ever tasted. My first impressions of Casco Viejo were nothing short of amazing, each building is a different colour, the buildings have such character and not knowing too much about the city left me eager to find out what this place was all about.
