As promised, I’m back with my monthly beauty favourites for the month of February. This time I decided to focus a little more on luxury products that make the perfect gift for yourself or anyone you might really, really love. If you have a little extra money in your beauty budget, then definitely pick one or two of the below to splurge on. You won’t regret it.
Peter Thomas 24k Gold Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Eye Patches – I’ve been looking for quality eye patches for an incredibly long time! I put these to the test during fashion week and they did not disappoint. These eye patches have a unique blend of colloidal gold, caffeine, hydrolyzed collagen, and humectants that work together to minimize the look of fine lines and puffiness. I popped them on for 10 minutes every morning and my swollen eyes were gone, gone, gone. They also come in a cucumber and I heard that if you pop them in the fridge it provides that extra bit of cooling to your skin.
Paul Mitchell Marula Oil Style Perfecting Serum – I change up my hair styling products fairly often, especially when it comes to oils. Depending on the season my hair can be dry, oily, coarse or frizzy. It has a mind of it’s own but I usually rely on hair oils and serums to avoid the above. This month I’ve been using Paul Mitchell’s Marula Style Perfecting Oil Serum, I use about a dime size when my hair is damp before I blow it out. I’ve noticed a huge difference in smoothness and that extra bit of shine it brings.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir – This one might not come as a surprise to most of you, since it’s been recommended by almost every girl I know! The beauty elixir by Caudalie will be your new best friend, it’s a natural, toning mist that sets makeup, provides an instant burst of radiance with the most refreshing smell of toning rosemary, astringent mint, and soothing rose essential oil. I carry this in my purse on long days and it instantly refreshes my skin and my mood.
Laura Geller Highlighter in Gilded Honey – Not much to say here except it’s nice to find a highlighter that adds a subtle glow instead of a dramatic one! Definitely recommended for anyone looking to not go too overboard with the highlight.
Erno Laszlo Intensive Night Cream – As you know I’m a skin care fanatic and I’ve tested a lot of face creams, especially night creams. I know this is an expensive product but I’ve never seen results like this before. Firstly, this cream is quite rich, so you need about half the amount of a regular night cream. Secondly, it somehow doesn’t feel heavy, after about 10 minutes your skin absorbs it all and you are left with a beautiful glow. Lastly, I didn’t really see how great the results were until I woke up, my skin feels so smooth and soft when I wake up – I’m seriously in love!
